2021 Golf Outing

The 22nd Annual Family Promise Golf Outing was held on Monday, June 7, 2021. This was a record breaking year for our event, as we welcomed a total of 110 golfers to the beautiful Edgewood Country Club in River Vale—the most registrants to date! Despite minor dilemmas due to inclement weather, our guests enjoyed a day of golf, a silent auction featuring outings to several of the area’s best golf courses, skill contests, and more, all in support of Family Promise of Bergen County.

Bogota Savings Bank Charitable Foundation returned as the outing’s Presenting Sponsor for the ninth consecutive year. Additionally, the event’s roster of sponsors included Gold Sponsors Lakeland Bank, M&T Bank, PKF O’Connor Davies, Schreiber Foods International, UnitedHealthCare, Jim and Carissa Wangsness, Luncheon Sponsor the Leyva Family, Dinner Sponsor PNC Wealth Management, and Golf Ball Sponsor Visions Federal Credit Union.

The outing featured not one, but two Hole in One Contests, where golfers had the opportunity to win a brand new 2021 Lexus NX SUV, courtesy of sponsors Prestige Lexus of Ramsey and the Matthew 18:5 Foundation, or a 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser, courtesy of sponsor East Coast Toyota. Proximo Spirits returned as our Liquor Tasting sponsor, and guests enjoyed premium tequila and whiskey tasting stations on the course.
