Family Success

Last time, we told you that a father in the New Leaf Program was preparing to take the test for his Commercial Drivers License. I’m happy to report that his dedication to his success paid off…He passed both the written and practical sections of the test on the first attempt! Luz Galeano, Director of Family Services reported that for the past 8 months, Tom has been focused on becoming the best commercial truck driver he could be. He studied daily – even during breaks from his two FULL TIME JOBS!

Next step? Tom is already looking for a full-time job as a newly licensed commercial driver.
