Earlier this year we welcomed and introduced you to a new family in our New Leaf Program. This family – mom, dad, and 3 children – are doing well and working diligently toward their goals. They continue to receive case management at least weekly and financial coaching to raise their credit score and pay off debt.
Dad is practicing driving on-the-road to be able to take the final test for his Commercial Driver’s License in October. Mom is also practicing her driving skills in the hopes of getting a driver’s license in the near future. She is taking ESL classes to improve her language skills and has secured a job at a local restaurant. Their eldest daughter just turned eighteen and is looking for a job while she explores her options for attending community college this Fall.
We applaud this family as they move forward on their journey towards self-sufficiency. They are committed to their own success and we will be there for them every step of the way!
