Family Promise of Bergen County hosted its 15th annual golf outing on June 10 at the Edgewood Country Club in River Vale. Honorary Golf Committee Chairman and former NBA coach and assistant coach with Brooklyn Nets, Lawrence Frank led the shotgun start, followed by 70 golfers who enjoyed 18 holes of rain-free golf, followed by a reception and dinner. Silent auction items featured opportunities to play some of the best local golf courses; other items ranged from a 1983 Château Lafite Rothschild to single malt scotch to craft beers to selected wines to assorted 2014 NOLA NBA All Star Game items. 

50/50 cash raffle winner NBA player, Kerry Kittles, generously donated his winnings back to Family Promise. Steve Protass, Diane Scriveri and Theresa DeLeon won closest to the pin while Bob Green and Kathy Jones won longest drive. The net proceeds from the event should be enough to house a family of four for a year in a “New Leaf” transitional housing apartment. A special thanks to our sponsors:
