Oh, What a Night!

The Family Promise Gala, held on October 18, 2017, was a tremendous success! This is a big step toward our vision to end homelessness for working families in Bergen County.

It was a beautiful night at the Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes, with a sold-out crowd of volunteers, sponsors and friends and many more who supported us with donations, sponsorships, journal ads, auction items and well wishes. Thank you all for investing in the families we serve.

At the Gala, Family Promise honored the 25 Host Congregations of the Family Promise Network. On a weekly rotating schedule, each congregation hosts up to 14 people a night. They are supported by an additional 56 congregations who provide volunteers and meals. Family Promise’s goal is help homeless, working families to become self-sufficient, working families. It was a memorable, wonderful evening in support of this important work in our community.
