Family Promise of Bergen County Gala to support homeless families

On October 15, Family Promise hosted our 2025 Annual Gala, welcoming over 275 guests to Seasons in Washington Township for an extraordinary evening in support of the children and parents we serve. Thanks to our many guests, donors, and volunteers, the event was a huge success, raising vital funding for our housing, support, and meal programs for working families facing homelessness in Bergen County and our food insecure neighbors.

Continuing the celebration of 1.5 million meals served at the Family Promise Walk-In Dinner, our theme focused on our meal distribution program and those who have made this “little miracle” happen every night for the past 34 years. Our 2025 honorees included Kol Dorot, Hackensack Golf Club, RSM Facility Solutions, and the Sargenti Family, who were celebrated for their profound support of this program and our mission to feed our community. The evening’s program also recognized the hard work and dedication of our longtime Walk-In Dinner Team Leaders, many who were in attendance.

We were thrilled to welcome back the fabulous and fun Alina Albano, director of our Youth Council and a member the Family Promise Board of Trustees, as our event MC. Astrograss returned as the musical act for the second year, performing bluegrass-infused covers as guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner, a silent auction, wine pull, and more.

The Family Promise Annual Gala was made possible thanks to the generosity of our 2025 sponsors: Every Meal Matters Sponsors CA Ferolie and Kol Dorot, Nourish Now Sponsor Bogota Savings Bank Charitable Foundation, Star Sponsors Bob & Ann Benson and PSEG, Cocktail Reception Sponsor Buck, Seifert, and Jost, Inc., and Family Friend/Food for Good Sponsors SHARP Electronics, PNC Private Bank, SAX, The Novak Family, Visions Federal Credit Union, RBC Wealth Management, Van Cleef Engineering, and MRCC.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us and supported our Gala through donations, journal ads, contributions to the silent auction and Wine Pull, and countless other generous acts. We also want to thank Sue Hill, Pam Biggs, and our amazing team of volunteers whose hard work and dedication were key to the success of our event. See you next year!
