Thank You Temple Israel

We thank Temple Israel of Ridgewood, a longtime supporter and friend, for once again providing a wonderful Christmas dinner at the Walk-in Dinner Program! This is the third year in a row that the synagogue did all the cooking and donated a complete holiday dinner, including turkey, sweet potatoes, mac & cheese, veggies, stuffing, dessert and more!

On site were Craig Padover, Bob Zeller, Sylvia Fletcher, Tom Marcyes, David Milman, and Amanda Rohrberger, with the entire effort spearheaded and coordinated by our dedicated and amazing Family Promise volunteer Sue Hill.

We are grateful for everyone’s contributions and extend special thanks to Rabbi Fine for his ongoing support.

A number of our regular WIDP volunteers were also on hand that day and did a great job as always! Thank you to Imtiaz Zinnah, Lisa Lanzalotto, Phylis Burman, Larry Bernstein, Steve Grassi, Julie Sebastian, and Melody Garcia. Our deep appreciation goes out to Karyle Goldstein for being Team leader and ensuring that the day ran smoothly.

We thank everyone for their generous service and for a true team effort to deliver a very special meal on Christmas Day!
