It is with great pleasure that we announce the hiring of our newest addition to the Family Promise team, Cindy Florencio. Cindy will replace Trish Giglio, who retired in April, and join Luz Galeano as a Family Case Manager. Cindy has a bachelor’s degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey and a master’s degree from New York University Silver School of Social Work. She has experience working with victims of domestic violence, counseling adolescents and families in crisis, individuals with disabilities, and those impacted by cancer. She has facilitated weekly empowerment support groups and will be a great asset to our empowerment programming.
When she is not working with families, Cindy can be found exploring local coffee shops with a good book in hand.
At her first staff meeting Cindy reported, “I’m excited to be a part of the team. The mission and vision of Family Promise resonated immediately. I have eclectic and diverse experience to do the job of Case Manager and think I will be a positive addition.”
We think so too, Cindy. We think so too!
