As the summer draws to an end and the children head back to school, they take with them happy memories and new friendships they made at Camp Lots-of-Fun. For the last half of August, twenty nine homeless children had the opportunity to experience new activities, ideas and relationships. And what fun they had! Read more about it below.
As is true each year, many of the volunteer counselors at Camp Lots-of-Fun are also members of Family Promise’s Youth Council for the Homeless. Learn how to become part of this dynamic group of high school volunteers in this issue.
Looking forward, Family Promise is celebrating its 30th anniversary by holding its Annual Gala on October 19th and what better way to celebrate than by honoring founder and nurturer, Nancy Woods. This event is a sure sellout so please get your tickets early.

Thanks to all who gave to the Camp Appeal and supported us through the summer which is typically a lean time of year. Exciting things are happening at Family Promise (families getting jobs, promotions and apartments) and it is because of you that we are able to provide important, impactful programming.
With extreme gratitude,
Kate
