Family Promise’s Camp Lots-of-Fun helps a homeless child just be a child again.
Homelessness can rob children of their childhood. But for two fun-filled weeks each summer, Camp Lots-of-Fun helps young campers take back their childhood. Adventures, cooperative play, and exciting, shared experiences build our campers’ confidence and self-esteem, and leave them with happy memories.
Camp Lots-of-Fun serves thirty children, ages 5 through 12, who are current or former residents of Family Promise sheltering programs. The camp is run by a dedicated adult supervisory staff with individualized attention provided by high school age volunteer counselors.
We are currently looking for a Camp Director of Camp Lots-of-Fun. This is a part-time paid position which combines administrative duties with the actual running of the camp.
