In the last edition of The Promise, we celebrated the graduation of Office Administrator Renee Harper’s son, Christopher’s graduation from Norwich University.
This month, we honor two special graduates who, like so many others, never had the thrill of walking across the stage to receive their diplomas due to the pandemic. First, congratulations to Jade He, daughter of Director of Development Jane He (and husband Peter). Jade graduated from Wayne Hills High School and will be attending Hofstra University this fall, majoring in Television Production. Jade has a passion for TV and film production and won several awards for her work. She also edited the Camp Lots-of-Fun video shown at our 2018 Gala.
Erin Shanley, daughter of our Accountant Marie Shanley (and husband Steve) graduated in May from Tulane University in New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. As an undergraduate, Erin majored in Biomedical Engineering and minored in Mathematics. She is eager to return to Tulane in the fall to complete her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering. She is inspired by this field because of its ability to bridge the gap between engineering and medicine while improving healthcare and positively impacting the lives of patients.
The fact that these are amazing young people are so successful is no surprise. Look at who their moms are! Congratulations to all our graduates. Your futures await!
