On Sunday, May 7th more than 150 participants and volunteers gathered in Van Neste Square in Ridgewood to Hike or Bike for Family Promise.

It was a fantastic day filled with music, dancing, food, games, giveaways, prizes and of course, the Hike or Bike! Thank you to EVERYONE – our enthusiastic hikers and bikers who braved the weather (again), their families, friends and colleagues who generously supported their efforts, our dedicated volunteers (the best ever) and fantastic, loyal sponsors – for making the Hike or Bike a fun, glorious day and a great success!

Participants chose to either hike or bike a 3-mile route or bike a 15-mile route. Most participants joined one of 21 teams, and encouraged their friends and family to donate to Family Promise in support of their Hike or Bike. Funds raised will support Family Promise’s programs, including renovations on a new transitional apartment that will house one family in our New Leaf sheltering program.

It’s not too late to donate to the Hike or Bike! Your donation to Family Promise can be in support of an individual hiker or biker, a team, or a general donation to Family Promise! Click HERE to donate now.
Final results, photos and much more to come, but in the meantime, please share this great video and accompanying article featured in The Record with all of your friends and supporters!
