The Family Promise Walk-In Dinner Program provides fresh, nutritious meals seven days a week to anyone experiencing food insecurity. Free dinners are available daily at the Bergen County Housing, Health, and Human Services Center (120 South River Street, Hackensack) from 4:45 – 5:50 PM. Meals are served in the dining room of the Human Services Center and also distributed in to-go packages at the loading dock.
Are you homeless or behind on your rent?
Family Promise is here to help.
Behind on rent?
Our diversion & prevention program assists working families with dependent children who are facing eviction or otherwise struggling to pay rent due to temporary emergencies or an unforeseen life event. Families who are working and struggling to pay rent may be eligible for rental assistance.
We do not currently provide assistance for move-in expenses, such as security deposits.
Call us today at 201-833-8009 to learn how we can help. Sorry, we do not accept walk-ins.
