Thank You Novino!

During the height of the pandemic, the Family Promise Walk-in Dinner Program was impacted in many ways. Food providers were often unable to cook together to provide meals and volunteer as they once had, leaving many open dates for us to fill.

Enter Novino Italian Restaurant in Mahwah who we began calling on frequently.  Family Promise remained committed to providing balanced and nutritious meals to anyone in need and Novino fit that bill!

Thank you to George, who we still turn to regularly when we need to cater the meals. Not only is the food delicious but George is the consummate professional – easy to work with and always reliable. Even in a storm, with local roads closed all around, George found his way to the shelter when many others could not.

The menus are varied, the food abundant, AND donated pizzas are delivered EVERY time to feed our hard working volunteer team.
