Reliable transportation is a necessity for all of us, but can be life changing for a formerly homeless family. This was recently the case for one of our families, a mother with two young children ages 5 and 3. Dominique was spending approximately $400 a week on Uber just to get the kids to school and day care and herself to work! Thanks to your generosity, Family Promise was able to provide her with a car of her own. When she first saw the vehicle, she said she “couldn’t believe it” and was thrilled at what great condition it was in!
