A Cheerful Holiday Celebration for Families

On December 5^th, Family Promise continued its annual tradition of a fun and festive Holiday Party for our families. Volunteers, friends, board and staff gathered in celebration of the holidays with good food, music and tons of fun! The Family Promise Youth Council for the Homeless did an outstanding job bringing the cheer by organizing crafts, gingerbread house-making, line-dancing and for the first time ever – a holiday photo booth! Children had their faces painted by Dolly the Clown and of course Santa came by to distribute gifts to all of the children.

Big thanks to The Forman Team at Cross Country Mortgage for sponsoring the party for the 3^rd year in a row! Thank you as well to the many individuals, organizations and businesses who supported our Holiday Giving Fund this year. Several local companies donated significantly: N&V International, Sharp, Freedom Bank, Connect One Bank and RMR Wealth Builders.

Special thanks to Sheila Verna, Alina Albano and the Youth Council for the Homeless for making the party spectacular, to Barbara Gallagher and Frank McCann for capturing the special evening with their great photographs and to Tommy Mergola for the Christmas cheer!
