“How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.”

JUST FOR KIDS
Kids of all ages can make a difference in the lives of others. Here are some ways they can get involved:
Donation Drive
Young people can collect items from our Wish List. Click here for the full list. To find out the most needed items, call the Family Promise office at 201-833-8009.
Create a Fundraiser
Kids can create their own fun and creative fundraiser to help children who are homeless. Suggestions include organizing a lemonade stand, a car wash or a bake sale. (Some children have even asked for donations to Family Promise in lieu of birthday gifts!)
Houses for Change
Houses for Change is an educational arts and crafts project designed for kids who want to raise funds to help homeless families. This project has been adopted by Girl Scouts, schools and congregations to engage kids of all ages in a meaningful service project. For information on obtaining cardboard houses to decorate, call the Family Promise office at 201-833-8009.
Join us as we walk in support of homeless, working families. Form a team with your family or friends to help make the day a great success. Click here to see all the fun we had in 2021.
This dynamic group of Bergen County high school students meets monthly to organize ways to help Family Promise. For more information, visit our Youth Council page.
