The sturdy new partitions for Family Promise’s program to shelter homeless families are actually an Eagle Scout project – the work of Brian Gengler of Troop 138. Brian and his family are parishioners at Famly Promise’s “home” church, Ridgewood United Methodist, and have volunteered both on weekends and when families stay overnight at the church.

When we requested new partitions for the Network Program, Brian was immediately on board and ready to get started, because he’d seen the need first hand!

The six beautifully designed dividers Brian delivered in time for the new year allow our families to have a secure and private space of their own when a gym or congregational hall is used for housing.

Thanks to Brian, his family and fellow scouts who supported him for their commitment and hard work.
