Mark Trautman, music director at St. Paul’s in Englewood, is always looking for new ways to bring music, and the joy that comes with it, into the lives of children. He reached out to the family living in our Englewood apartment and invited the eldest son Jimmy to be part of the music program through piano lessons. What an opportunity!
The family now lives in their own apartment, but the lessons continue! Jimmy currently has a keyboard on loan from the choir school so he can practice at home.
Jimmy is a bright, young boy who is really excelling in music. Piano lessons are teaching him discipline, showing him the results of perseverance, and giving him the positive feedback he craves.
Thank you, Maestro Trautman.
