A Town United in Service — The Allendale Coalition

The town of Allendale is unique in that four churches work closely together to meet the sheltering needs of Family Promise families. Thank you to Archer United Methodist and Reverend Korkuch, Guardian Angel Catholic Church and Father Pinyan, and Calvary Lutheran and Pastor Jenny McClellan who serve as hosts and who offer unwavering support for Family Promise. Highlands Presbyterian completes the “Allendale Coalition” with additional volunteers as they support each other during their hosting weeks.

We know the families are in great hands under the leadership of Connie McGinty at Archer. Thank you to new coordinators Joe Zitolo at Guardian Angel and Cindy Strauch at Calvary, both of whom smoothly took over the reins last November. Family Promise extends profound gratitude to Chuck Assicurato and Rich Epperlein for their years of dedication and commitment to Family Promise.

Allendale has demonstrated consistent support of the Family Promise mission, including the fundraising efforts of the Allendale Woman’s Club over the last couple of years. In addition, this past December a wonderful town-wide Holiday Concert was held at Archer on behalf of Family Promise.
