In December 2020, during the height of the pandemic, Norm Forsyth of the Hackensack Golf Club became aware of the Family Promise Walk-in Dinner Program. The club had some extra food at that time that they wanted to donate. Upon learning about the daily need for meals in the community, the club quickly signed up as a regular food provider. Over the last two years, with the support of RSM Facility Solutions, the club has delivered delicious and abundant meals for at least 160 guests twice every month and have signed on once again for 2023!
Thank you to all involved at HGC for recognizing and meeting this urgent need and our thanks as well to Cecilia Sargenti of RSM. With special appreciation for chef Lawrence Knapp for his culinary talents and thoughtful, generous donations of amazing meals for the guests of the Walk-in Dinner Program in Hackensack.
