Spring is finally here, which means the Family Promise Hike for Hope is just around the corner! Please join us on Sunday, May 4 at Van Neste Square Memorial Park in Ridgewood for a three-mile walk in support of the children and parents facing homelessness that Family Promise of Bergen County serves.
For more than three decades, the Hike for Hope has brought adults and kids of all ages together to bring awareness to family homelessness and raise vital funding for our life-changing housing, support, and meal programs. Leading up to the event, “hikers” create their own online fundraising campaign and complete virtual challenges to earn activity points, which can be redeemed for prizes. After participants finish their trek through Ridgewood on May 4, we’ll return and celebrate with music, games, snacks, contests, giveaways, activities, and more at Van Neste Square. Prizes will be awarded in various categories.
The Hike for Hope is a great spring activity, perfect for families, schools, businesses, and groups looking to make a difference in our community. Students can also earn community service or volunteer hours by signing up and participating in the event!
Registration is now open. To learn more about the Family Promise Hike for Hope and get started, please visit Family Promise Hike for Hope 2025.
