Hike or Bike for Homeless Families

Family Promise’s Hike or Bike 2014 was held on Sunday, May 4th beginning at Van Neste Square. Although the weather on the day of the event was unpredictable, there was nothing wavering about the commitment of our riders and walkers. Scores of Family Promise supporters walked, rode or otherwise navigated the streets of Ridgewood to raise funds for homeless families. At the end of the route, participants joined the celebration with music, food, clowns, dancing, prizes and lots of fun.

The winners for Most Money Raised in four categories were:
Individual Online – Richard Chun
Individual Regular Donations – Pauline Woods-Bannon
Family – Anne and Jerry Fleisher
Team – Godspeed from St. Mark’s Church in Teaneck
We raised over $30,000 from this year’s Hike or Bike which will be used to support our Family Promise Network and New Leaf Transitional Housing programs.
