Dedicated mom becomes certified medical assistant and U.S. citizen*

Katherine and her four children were in our Network sheltering program for three months before moving into a New Leaf transitional apartment in December 2017. Since then, Katherine has been working hard to fulfill her dreams. She recently completed a course to become a certified medical assistant and is studying to become an occupational therapy assistant. Katherine says our financial and empowerment workshops have been a great help! She also just became a U.S. citizen after diligently studying for and passing the citizenship exam. Katherine is currently pursuing a housing opportunity out of state. Kudos, Katherine!
