Mark Your Calendars for our Annual Gala!

This year marks the 30^th Anniversary of Family Promise of Bergen County and the theme of our Gala is Promises Kept…Promises for Tomorrow. The Gala will be held on Wednesday, October 19th at the Stony Hill Inn in Hackensack at 6:00 pm, featuring Cocktails, Silent Auction, Dinner and Program. Tickets are $150 per person or $1,250 for a table of 10 and may be purchased online at bergenfamilypromise.org. There are also opportunities for sponsorship or to place an ad in our printed Journal. We hope you will join us!

Nancy Woods is being honored at the Gala for her lifelong commitment and passion for helping homeless families. Nancy identified the dire need for a place where working families who became homeless could go for assistance. In response, she founded Fellowship House, the Emergency Family Shelter at St. Cecelia’s High School in Englewood. There, hundreds of families of every race and ethnicity were welcomed with compassion and respect.

The Gala auction will feature many wonderful items. We are accepting pre-bids on one very special item only – a package of four tickets to the see the Broadway show Hamilton, including a backstage tour, dinner for four at Sardi’s and limousine transportation to and from the show!
