Notes of thanks

We would all like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who donated to the Holiday Giving Fund, including individuals, families, congregations, schools, and businesses. Thanks for empowering parents in our sheltering programs to purchase gifts their children had asked for and needed. Many parents in our sheltering program describe lack of choices due to their homelessness. Your kindness restored the ability to make choices important to their children. This funding also allows us to continue our vital programs to help homeless working families move to self-sufficiency.

Thanks also to those who gave the gift of family time by providing gift cards for dinner out and family fun. Families were able to go to the movies or bowling or out to dinner at restaurants, including Applebee’s, Olive Garden, Chili’s, and others. Your thoughtfulness allowed families to create their own holiday memories. What a wonderful gift!

Home for the Holidays was also a big hit. Many of you donated new items that families moving into apartments of their own need.
