On April 3rd the entire Ridgewood community enjoyed the sweetest gift from our local Ben & Jerry’s – Free Ice Cream Cone Day! All of us here at Family Promise were especially grateful because Owner and Chief Flavor Guru Sibel Berberoglu and Flo Valdez, Operations & Catering Manager, named Family Promise as the beneficiary of any donations collected during the daylong event. “Ben & Jerry’s has been supporting the community for a long time. In fact, Free Ice Cream Cone Day started in 1979 to thank everyone for their support.”
Our intrepid staff, board members, and volunteers scooped, while also providing crowd control and parking direction to the enthusiastic community. With nearly $1500 in donations collected, this was one sweet day!
