The 24th Annual Family Promise Golf Outing was held on June 5, 2023 at Edgewood Country Club in River Vale, and we could not have asked for a more beautiful, sunny day for our event! All proceeds from the outing directly supported Family Promise of Bergen County’s programs for working families experiencing homelessness, and those facing food insecurity in our community.
Guests enjoyed a fabulous afternoon featuring 18 holes of golf, skills contests, silent auction, and more. The outing also featured not one, but two Hole in One contests, giving golfers multiple chances to put their skills to the test and leave the event a winner. Prizes included a brand new 2023 Lexus Sedan from Prestige Lexus of Ramsey, courtesy of returning Hole in One Sponsor Matthew 18:5 Foundation, and a $30,000 jackpot—where individuals could win $15,000 for themselves and $15,000 for Family Promise—thanks to sponsor Evily. Players also enjoyed an on-course liquor tasting, courtesy of Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
We were thrilled to welcome back Bogota Savings bank Charitable Foundation, who returned as our event’s Presenting Sponsor for the 11th consecutive year! Additional sponsors included Lakeland Bank, PKF O’Connor Davies and United HealthCare as Gold Sponsors, Schreiber Foods International as the Luncheon Sponsor, and PNC Private Bank as the Cocktail Reception & Dinner Sponsor. John Masterson, longtime chairperson of the Family Promise Golf Outing, also returned for 2023.
