Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day

Nothing says warm weather has arrived like ice cream! On April 8, Ben & Jerry’s hosted its annual Free Cone Day, celebrating the start of spring by handing out free scoops of its famous ice cream to the community. For the third consecutive year, Family Promise of Bergen County was chosen as the beneficiary of all tips and donations collected at chain’s Ridgewood location throughout the day-long event. Our volunteers and members of our Youth Council had a blast scooping ice cream alongside the Ben & Jerry’s team, serving customers to raise money for our housing, support, and meal programs.
