Use the DONATE button on this website for credit cards; arrange for recurring payments through your bank or Donor Advised Fund. Monthly donations provide sustainable and flexible support to our programs and have a lasting, positive impact on our community.
Honorary/Memorial donations:
Make a donation in tribute to someone special or to mark a notable occasion. Sometimes a physical gift isn’t right. So often we hear, “I don’t need anything”, what they do want is to feel loved, appreciated, and remembered. Commemorating a life or event through a gift that uplifts others is a lasting act of kindness.
Donate Stocks or Securities:
Many supporters choose to make tax-advantaged gifts through appreciated stocks, securities, or mutual funds. We encourage you to consult your financial advisor to explore the potential tax benefits of donating appreciated securities.
Donor Advised Funds:
Grants from DAFs are a convenient way to use funds earmarked for charitable contributions to support our mission.
Matching/Corporate Gifts:
Many companies match donations their employees make in an effort to support the communities where they do business or the causes their employees care about. Typically, the Human Resources department has information on whether your gift can be doubled—making your impact go twice as far to help our neighbors in need. Some companies have foundations where employees can recommend Family Promise of Bergen County receive grants.
Planned Giving:
Family Promise of Bergen County accepts a variety of planned gifts offering the comfort of knowing that the generosity you share today will continue to provide our neighbors with housing and food security now and in the future. Your legacy can be one of compassion, care and a lasting impact on our community.
Affiliate Programs:
Banks will contribute to Family Promise of Bergen County when you sign up for their affiliate programs, at no cost to you. This applies to existing banking customers or if you open a new account.

In-Kind Donations:
Families in our shelter and support programs benefit from in-kind donations of household items, school supplies and gift cards. Click here to visit our Wish List page for information on current needs.
Our Walk-In Dinner program seeks donations of the 160-175 prepared meals we distribute every day of the year.
